|Disney’s Winnie the Pooh|
Long before J.K. Rowling turned reluctant readers on to a hidden wizard world, A.A. Milne was keeping a younger set wide-eyed with tales conjured in the mind of that British schoolboy, Christopher Robin.
I watched “Disney’s Winnie the Pooh” on opening weekend. The audience included Moms with preschoolers and 20 somethings wearing Tigger and Piglet tee shirts and few older people. Which I believe, shows that “Pooh” brings out the child in all of us. =-)
The plot is simple, but delightful. Pooh wants honey, Eyeore is depressed, and all the little friends are learning how to read and cause silly misunderstandings.
We want to congratulate Disney on keeping Pooh in step with it’s original hand-drawn animation and creative scenes that allow the characters to walk, or slide in the 100 acre woods and along the pages of the story book. I personally am not a fan of 3D cinema, and find it hard for my children to watch. The glasses come off and on during the movie…usually causing a headache aft-wards (for both the kids and me!).
We all enjoyed this movie. It was a great time out with the kids and a great way to beat the heat.
Swarm Naturals gives the movie 5 pots of Hunny.
